Three major issues that are most concerned by users of LED strips

What are the major issues that users are most concerned about before buying LED strips? SignliteLED has been deeply involved in the LED strip industry for 10 years. After contacting various types of customers, it has concluded that the most concerned issues of LED strip customers mainly include the following three points.

First: color temperature

Color temperature means “heating a black body of a scale, when the temperature rises to a certain level, the color begins to change gradually from dark red-light red-orange yellow-white-blue, the color of a certain light source and the black body When the colors are the same, we call the absolute temperature of the black body at that time the color temperature of the light source.”

The color temperature of the light source changes, and the light color also changes. The color temperature is below 3300K, and the reddish light color gives people a warm feeling, a solemn atmosphere, and a warm feeling, commonly known as warm color temperature; the color temperature is in the middle of 3000-6000K, and people have no particularly obvious visual psychological effects under this color tone. There is a feeling of comfort, so it is called “neutral” color temperature; the color temperature exceeds 6000K, and the light color is bluish, giving people a cool feeling, commonly known as cool color temperature.

Second: brightness

The color of the LED strip will have different luminous intensities, and the unit used is mcd, that is, millicandela. The higher the value, the greater the luminous intensity, that is, the brighter. This is the primary indicator for choosing an LED strip. The higher the brightness requirement, the more expensive the light strip is, because the high-brightness LED chip is more expensive.

Factors that affect the brightness of LED strips:

1. The number of LEDs: how many LEDs are on the LED strip per meter, which is more concerned by users.

2. LED chip: Users often determine the quality of the LED strip by knowing the LED chip supplier used on the LED strip, because the chip is the biggest factor that determines the price of the LED strip. Therefore, knowing the chip supplier can roughly determine the price range of LED strips, which is one of the effective means for experienced buyers to evaluate suppliers.

3. LED partition distance: LED strips produced by manufacturers have various partition distances between LEDs. In order to confirm that the purchased LED strip is necessary, users usually know the distance between each LED.

Third: lifespan

Although the lifespan of the LED is 50,000 to 100,000 hours, because the LED is a constant current component, the constant current results of the LED strips produced by different manufacturers are different, so the lifespan is also limited. Hence the difference. As a user, it is necessary to have a clear understanding of the service life of LED strips. Therefore, users often ask this question.

110V LED Strip Lights: The Complete Guide
110V LED strip lights are high-voltage LED strips designed for long, continuous lighting runs. Powered by 110V AC input through a rectifier or driverless circuit, they allow large projects to use fewer power supplies and fewer power injection points. They are commonly used for building outlines, outdoor signage, façade lighting, and...

What are the differences between PCB and PCBA? (Updated 2026)
In the electronics manufacturing industry, “PCB” and “PCBA” are mentioned almost daily. However, these two concepts often cause confusion, even among hardware startups or procurement teams without an electronics background. Some believe they are merely synonyms, others mistakenly assume PCBA is simply an “upgraded version of PCB,” and some procurement personnel...
