Làm thế nào để tìm một nhà sản xuất logo ô tô được chiếu sáng 3D ở Trung Quốc

Search for a 3D illuminated car logo sign manufacturer and you will get hundreds of near-identical marketplace listings. Many of them openly use real car brand names in the product title. Almost none of them tell you who actually builds the sign, what it is made of, or whether the seller has any right to reproduce that logo in the first place.

That last point matters more than most buyers realize, because the risk does not stay with the seller. If a shipment bearing an unauthorized trademark reaches customs, it is the importer’s shipment that gets held.

A genuinely useful manufacturer for this product can fabricate a dimensional sign to your exact artwork, finish, and lighting effect — and ask about your rights to the logo before it starts production, rather than simply taking the order.

This guide covers luxury and home garage owners, car enthusiasts, offices, and dealership or showroom buyers.

câu trả lời nhanh

A 3D illuminated car logo sign is a raised, dimensional logo — usually acrylic, metal, or a combination — with LEDs built into it.

Choosing the build: ask for halo-lit (reverse-lit) if you want a solid metal or chrome face with a glow on the wall behind it, and your wall is smooth and matte. Ask for face-lit if the logo itself must glow, or if your wall is glossy, dark, tiled, or heavily textured.

Budget: current marketplace listings put made-to-order wall pieces at roughly US$50–300, but treat that as a benchmark only — it is not a comparable quote until size, finish, power supply, mounting hardware, and shipping terms match.

Finding the manufacturer: look past marketplace listings to the factory’s own website, match the business license, invoice name, and payment beneficiary, and ask for powered-on photos or video before shipment.

Before any of that, confirm one thing: if the logo belongs to a car brand rather than to you, you need authorization to reproduce it. A supplier that never raises this question is not protecting you.

What Is a 3D Illuminated Car Logo Sign?

Logo xe hơi 3D

It is a wall-mounted, three-dimensional reproduction of a logo with integrated LED lighting — built the same way architectural signage is built, just at a smaller scale and usually for an interior wall.

It is not a flat printed sign. The shape is cut, formed, or fabricated so it stands off the surface, which is what creates the shadow line and the halo glow. A printed panel with a light behind it is a lightbox, not a 3D sign.

It is not a vehicle emblem. Searches for “LED car logo” return a lot of small illuminated badges that mount on a car’s grille or boot — these list in single-digit to low-double-digit dollars with minimum orders of ten pieces or more. A wall sign is a fabricated, made-to-order item.

It is usually ordered as interior decor or wall branding, but installation and electrical requirements still depend on the location and the wiring method. Check local requirements before choosing a hardwired installation.

The construction logic is the same one used for channel letters and lightbox signs — a formed face, a side wall (the “return”), an LED light source inside, and a power supply.

Who Actually Buys These, and What Changes by Buyer Type

Logo xe hơi 3D

The specification for this product changes more by buyer than by anything else.

BuyerHow to size itWhat they care about mostTypical quantityLogo rights question
Luxury / home garage ownerTest a full-size paper template on the wallFinish quality, dimmable for evening use1 pieceUsually applies — logo belongs to a car brand
Car enthusiastTest a full-size paper template on the wallSpecific brand accuracy, price1 pieceAlmost always applies
Office / corporate lobbyTest a full-size paper template at normal viewing distanceExact brand color and metal finish match1–2 piecesUsually does not apply — it is their own logo
Dealership / showroomTest a full-size paper template at floor-crossing distanceDurability over long running hours, consistent brightness across units2–20 piecesUsually resolved already through the dealer agreement

Garage and enthusiast buyers are single-piece buyers. That is not a problem, but it does mean unit price will look high compared to a bulk listing, and you should expect to pay for a sample rather than get one free.

Office buyers should focus on color accuracy — supply a Pantone reference and a specific metal finish, not a screenshot of your website.

Showroom buyers should ask about the LED lifespan rating and the warranty term specifically, not just the price — a sign running twelve hours a day, every day, is a different engineering problem from one that runs three hours on weekends.

Confirm Your Rights to the Logo Before You Order

Logo xe hơi 3D

If the logo belongs to a car manufacturer and not to you, you need permission to reproduce it. This is the part of the process that marketplace listings ignore completely, and it is the part most likely to cost a buyer money.

Here is the mechanism, in plain terms. Trademark owners can record their registered marks with U.S. Customs and Border Protection through its e-Recordation system. Once a mark is recorded, CBP states it has “the legal authority to detain, seize, forfeit, and ultimately destroy IP infringing merchandise entering the U.S.”

This is not theoretical for the automotive sector. In one Philadelphia seizure of counterfeit auto parts shipped from China, CBP reported that the goods bore infringing trademarks belonging to Chevrolet, Buick and Dodge — marks that had been recorded through the e-Recordation program. The European Union operates comparable border enforcement under Regulation (EU) No 608/2013, which lets rights holders file an Application for Action with customs authorities.

So the practical risk is not an abstract legal threat. It is that your shipment gets held, and you lose both the sign and what you paid for it.

When this applies to you: you are reproducing a car brand’s logo, badge, wordmark, or a close variation of it, and you are not the brand, an authorized dealer, or a licensee.

When it does not apply: the logo is your own company’s. You are the rights holder. Or you have written authorization — a dealer agreement, a brand license, or direct permission from the brand owner. Franchised dealerships and brand-authorized showrooms generally already have this in place through their existing agreements; if you are in that position, the right move is simply to check what your agreement says about signage before you order, not to assume you are blocked.

If you want the look without the logo: an original design still gets you the product. A garage sign built around your own initials, a car silhouette, a model designation you have rights to, or an abstract mark can be fabricated using the same construction methods and avoids the specific risk of reproducing a car brand’s logo — provided the replacement design does not infringe someone else’s rights.

One useful test when you are comparing suppliers: send your inquiry and see whether anyone asks about authorization. A supplier that takes a brand logo order without a single question is telling you something about how it handles risk — and you are the one carrying that risk at the border, not them.

This section is general information about how border enforcement works, not legal advice. If you are ordering signage carrying a third-party trademark and are unsure whether you have permission, confirm your position with a qualified IP advisor in your country.

Construction Types: Halo-Lit vs Face-Lit vs Edge-Lit

Logo xe hơi 3D

Almost every 3D illuminated logo sign on the market is one of three builds. Knowing which one you want is one of the most useful things you can put in an inquiry, because it changes the material, the price, and the effect.

BuildNó sáng như thế nàoWhat it looks liketốt nhất cho
Halo-lit (reverse-lit)LEDs face the wall from inside the logo; the face stays solidSolid logo with a glow outline behind itPremium look; garages, offices, showroom interiors
Face-lit (backlit)LEDs face forward through a translucent acrylic faceThe logo itself glowsHigh visibility; brand color reproduction
Edge-lit acrylicLEDs inject light into the edge of a clear acrylic panelEngraved logo glows within a clear panelSlim, modern; small desk or wall pieces

Terminology varies between suppliers — some call halo-lit signs “back-lit” because the light exits backwards, while others use “backlit” for a glowing face. In your inquiry, say where you want the light to exit rather than relying on the term alone.

The halo-lit face is opaque — brushed stainless steel, painted aluminum, or chrome-finished — and the light spills onto the wall behind it. It depends heavily on installation, which is covered below.

Face-lit works by lighting a translucent face, so you can reproduce a brand color directly in the acrylic or the applied vinyl. It is also more forgiving of the wall surface, since the wall is not part of the effect.

Chrome or brushed metal faces are a finish, not a lighting type. The “premium automotive” look buyers usually describe is a chrome or brushed face combined with halo lighting. Say both parts out loud in your inquiry — the face material and the lighting method — because they are quoted separately.

Getting the halo effect right

Poor halo results usually come from the relationship between the wall, the standoff distance, module spacing, and beam angle — not from LED output alone.

Standoff distance. The sign has to sit off the wall for the light to spread. Sign trade practice puts the standoff between 1 and 2 inches (roughly 25–50 mm), with 1 to 1.5 inches most common on current builds — the wider 1.5 to 2 inch spacing is a holdover from neon-era signage. Too close and you get a hard ring of bright spots; too far and the glow washes out.

Wall surface. A smooth matte or satin wall in a light to medium tone gives the most even halo. A glossy or high-sheen wall reflects the individual LED modules, so you see a row of bright dots instead of a smooth glow. Heavy texture, dark masonry, and deep grout lines cause the opposite problem — they absorb the light and break the halo up. If your wall is gloss-painted, tiled, or dark rough stone, say so in your inquiry; a face-lit build is often simply the better choice for that room.

Module spacing. A workable rule from sign fabrication: space the LED modules at roughly one to two times the distance between the modules and the surface they are lighting. For wide-beam modules the wider end of that range applies — one manufacturer guide gives a 2:1 ratio, so a 50 mm depth means modules about 100 mm apart. For halo work specifically, wide-angle modules of 170 degrees or greater spread most evenly over a short throw.

LEDs and voltage. Small-format signs typically run on DC12V. Sign modules are specified by chip type, LED count, and wattage — for example SMD2835 modules at 1 to 4 LEDs per module, drawing roughly 0.3 W to 1.2 W each, in face-lit module ranges built for exactly this kind of enclosed sign. On a small logo where the LEDs sit close behind the face, lower-output modules placed closer together generally give a more even wash than fewer high-output ones. If color consistency across multiple units matters — a showroom ordering several signs — ask for 3-step MacAdam (SDCM) binning, the tolerance measure for how closely LEDs match each other; a lower step number means tighter matching.

Power supply. The driver should be sized above the actual load, not equal to it. A common rule is to specify the power supply at 1.2 to 1.5 times the total wattage of the LEDs, so it is not running at its limit. Ask whether the driver is included in the quote and whether the plug matches your country — this is a routine omission on export orders.

Dimming. The practical warning is that dimming capability and dimmer compatibility are not the same thing. PWM controllers running below about 1 kHz can produce visible stroboscopic artifacts and camera flicker, and these show up most at low duty cycle — which is exactly where an ambient garage sign spends its life. Ask for a controller above 1 kHz, and confirm the dimmer and driver have been tested together rather than just individually rated.

IP rating. ip65 covers low-pressure water jets and heavy rain; IP67 adds temporary immersion to one meter for 30 minutes and is the realistic choice for genuinely exposed positions.

Wall and power readiness. Send a photo of the wall itself, not just the logo artwork. Tell the supplier the wall material and finish, what power is available nearby, whether you want a plug-in lead or a hardwired connection, and where the driver will sit once it is installed — a driver that needs periodic replacement should stay reachable, not sealed behind the sign.

Where to Find Potential Manufacturers in China

Use marketplaces for price discovery, but build your real shortlist from suppliers whose identity and production capability you can verify.

ống thông hơiWhat you actually findtốt nhất choMain drawback
Alibaba / Made-in-ChinaMany listings, suitable for initial benchmarkingFast price benchmarkingSeller type and actual production site still need verification; highest concentration of trademark-risk listings
The factory’s own websiteSupplier-owned technical and capability informationOrders needing direct technical discussionTakes longer to find
Trade shows (Canton Fair, sign expos)Face-to-face contact, physical samplesMulti-unit and showroom ordersImpractical for one piece
Referral from an architectural sign supplierFactories with real lighting engineeringTechnically demanding buildsAvailable only if the referrer has relevant supplier experience

Marketplaces are the fastest way to learn the price range and the slowest way to find a factory. Checked on Made-in-China.com in August 2026, listings under “LED car logo” ran from under US$1 for a small vehicle emblem to more than US$8,600 for a full showroom exterior sign. Wall-mounted custom pieces clustered between roughly US$50 and US$300 with a minimum order quantity of one piece, while the sub-$20 items were mostly small vehicle badges at minimums of ten pieces or more. That spread is not a discount ladder — it is several different products sharing one search term.

In the same August 2026 scan, multiple listings named specific car marques directly in the product title. If a supplier’s public catalogue is built that way, that tells you how it approaches the rights question generally.

For trade shows and referrals, the same logic applies: a manufacturer that already builds CHÂN CHÂN CHỦ, lightboxes, and architectural signage has the fabrication and lighting capability this product needs, even if illuminated car logos are not the first category on its website.

How to Vet a Manufacturer for This Specific Product

Logo xe hơi 3D

The core question is who will fabricate your sign, where it will be made, and which legal entity is accountable for the order.

Ask for the business license and check the details. A Chinese business license shows the registered company name, the unified social credit code, the registered address, and the business scope. Read the business scope, but treat it as one signal rather than proof. A manufacturer can also hold trading and export scope. If the scope does not mention relevant manufacturing, ask directly who will fabricate the sign, and check that answer against the registered address and a live production-floor walkthrough. Then confirm the name on the license matches the name on the invoice and the bank beneficiary. A mismatch between the company you are corresponding with and the account you are paying is worth stopping over until it is explained.

Ask for a live factory walkthrough — a video call where someone walks the production floor and you can ask them to point the camera at a specific machine. For this product, ask to see the CNC or laser cutting equipment and the finishing area, because those determine whether the 3D form and the surface finish will actually be good.

Ask what testing they do. A supplier claiming in-house production should be able to name and show its test equipment. Aging tests, integrating sphere measurements for light output, salt spray testing for metal finishes, and temperature and humidity chambers are standard in established LED sign factories. As a reference point, our own facility is a 3,000 m² self-owned plant in Shenzhen operating since 2011, with Everfine photometric equipment, salt spray and temperature-humidity chambers, and product or component certifications including UL, ETL, DLC, TUV, CE, and RoHS within their applicable scopes.

Ask the logo rights question and listen to the answer. A supplier that asks who owns the artwork before quoting is a supplier with a compliance process. One that does not is not necessarily dishonest, but it is not managing risk on your behalf either.

Sample Approval and Quality Checks

Logo xe hơi 3D

For a one-piece order the sample is the finished product. Ask for clear finish photos in daylight and powered-on video in a dark room — and for halo-lit signs, ask for the halo shot against a smooth matte test surface.

Check the finish first. Look for consistent color across the whole face, no visible seams where sections of the 3D form join, clean edges on curves and tight interior corners, and no orange-peel texture in painted or chrome surfaces. On brushed metal, the grain direction should run consistently across the piece.

Then check it lit. The two failures worth catching are hotspots — bright patches where individual LEDs show through the face or reflect on the wall — and color variation between different parts of the same sign.

If you specified dimming, ask to see it at the lowest setting.

If you are ordering multiple units, ask for all of them photographed together, powered on, in one frame.

RFQ Checklist for Car Logo Signs

Send this in one message.

  • Artwork — vector file, plus a note on who owns the logo and your authorization if it is a third-party brand
  • chiều kích — overall width and height in mm, and the depth you want
  • Loại ánh sáng — halo-lit, face-lit, or edge-lit
  • Face material and finish — with a Pantone or RAL reference, or a photo of the finish you mean
  • màu nhạt — warm white, cool white, RGB, or a specific color temperature
  • không rỏ — required or not, and the control method if you have a preference
  • Mounting environment — indoor office, garage, semi-outdoor showroom window, or fully outdoor
  • Wall surface — for halo-lit signs, describe the wall color, sheen, and texture, and attach a photo
  • Cable exit / driver location — where the power cable should exit and where the driver will sit
  • Quotation basis — ask every supplier to quote on the same shipping term and state what is included
  • Approval evidence — request daylight finish photos, powered-on dark-room video, and a matte-wall halo test where applicable
  • quyền thay mặt — your country’s voltage and plug type, and whether you want plug-in or hardwired
  • số nhiều — including whether more units may follow, since that affects tooling decisions
  • Destination and deadline — port or door delivery, and the date you need it by

Copy this checklist into your inquiry and send the same version to every shortlisted supplier.

Compare Quotations on Total Scope, Not Unit Price

Compare the landed scope — sign, electrical parts, hardware, proofs, packaging, freight, duties, and warranty — not the unit price alone. A low unit price can produce a higher landed cost when those items are excluded.

The current US$50–300 marketplace range for custom wall pieces is a benchmark only; it is not a comparable quote until scope and shipping terms match.

Ask every supplier to quote on the same terms — same size, same finish, same shipping term.

From Order to Delivery: Production, Inspection, and Shipping

  • Ask the supplier to state the production start point in writing. For custom signs it is usually tied to artwork approval as well as payment. The sequence is normally artwork proof, your approval, fabrication, finishing, LED installation and wiring, then testing. Ask for a progress photo at the finishing stage — that is the last point where a surface problem can be corrected without starting over.
  • Insist on pre-shipment photos and video. Powered-on video in a dark room, plus clear photos of the finish in daylight, gives you what you need. For multi-unit or higher-value orders, decide before payment whether supplier-provided evidence is enough or whether an independent pre-shipment inspection is worth the added cost.
  • Packaging deserves specific attention with this product. A dimensional sign with a chrome or brushed face is more vulnerable in transit than flat signage — the raised form takes impact on its edges, and polished and chrome surfaces scratch from movement inside the carton. Ask what protects the face specifically, not just whether the box is strong. Foam or film directly on the face, corner protection on the 3D form, and a rigid outer carton are the things worth confirming.
  • Photograph any external packaging damage before you open it, note visible damage on the carrier’s record where possible, and power-test the sign as soon as the installation method safely allows.
  • If the sign arrives damaged or not to specification, agree in advance — ideally before you pay — who handles freight damage, a manufacturing defect, and a component that fails later, what evidence they will need (the packaging photos and power-test video above cover most of it), and whether the remedy is replacement parts, a remake, or a refund.
  • Confirm who handles warranty support and how. For an international order, the practical question is what a warranty claim actually involves: replacement parts shipped to you, or the whole sign returned. Get that answered before you pay, not after something fails.

OEM and Custom Orders: What to Expect

For buyers ordering under their own brand, or ordering repeatedly, a few extra points matter. Size, face material, finish, lighting method, light color, mounting method, and operating voltage are all specifiable on a made-to-order sign.

If you plan to reorder later, settle tooling and file ownership up front. Ask whether tooling is a one-time charge or built into the unit price, who keeps the artwork file and the approved specification on record, and whether a reorder later will be matched to that approved sample or re-quoted from scratch.

Confirm who selects and warrants the LED modules, driver, and controller, whether those parts have been tested together in the finished sign, and whether replacements will stay available. In-house module production can improve component traceability, but it does not replace finished-sign testing or a written support process.

Getting a Quote

If you are ready to specify a sign, the RFQ checklist above is the fastest route to a usable quote. SignliteLED has manufactured signage lighting and illuminated signs in Shenzhen since 2011, from a 3,000 m² self-owned facility with in-house photometric, salt spray, and temperature-humidity testing, and product or component certifications including UL, ETL, DLC, TUV, CE, and RoHS within their applicable scopes. We produce custom illuminated letters and logo signs on OEM and ODM terms.

If your artwork carries a third-party trademark, have your authorization ready when you enquire — it saves a round of back-and-forth before production can start.

Liên hệ với chúng tôi with your artwork and specification, and we will quote against it.
